[It started few days ago. You passed him the first time in the street randomly. After that every where you went Edgar was there. In the cafes sitting in the back of the room, stores, subway stations -- you name it. Day or night he's there, never approaching or even looking at your way. So, who knows? Maybe it is just really weird a coincidence that the young boy always happens to be in all public places same as you at the same time.
But now, as you are crossing walking down a street (heading towards home? work?) all the sounds near you quiets down. There's no soul to be seen anywhere not even a slightest breeze of wind passes. It's like someone had pressed pause on a film. Then, on the other side of street, near crossing of two sidewalks, a pair of shining bright blue eyes are staring right at you.
Edgar's been following you. The rosy lips have curled up into a small yet knowing smile and his stare is both intense yet curious. It's like his eyes are piercing right through your flesh and muscles, somewhere in the deep. The moment lasts barely more than a minute before he presses his gaze down on his feet and turns around, disappearing behind the corner.
And just like that everything turns back into normal. Was he even there?]
